And here I stand in isolation
feeling emptiness and doubt
trapped in this darkened world

Taken at an old abandoned house.
I do want to remind you this is not the way I'm currently feeling.
The emotion in this photo is created just for the purpose.

Thank you, I was very lucky that day that the sun was directly shining through the window, often a photographer needs to have a little luck that the light falls well at the right moment.

I have been away for some time, due to moving and changing jobs. This reply might be a bit late, but appreciate the effort people take on making comments and therefor the least I can do is reply to them. Thank you

the lighting is wonderful, as well as the tone. it's not this reddish sepia as usual. the composition (his view out of the window, his shadow, the old roof around) is fine, too - so altogether it's a great picture. but i guess you already know that from the number of favourites ;)

I was kind of amazed by the amount of favorites I got from it. I didn't expect it.
But that happens often, when I expect something to receive a lot, I don't get any and vica versa :)
I was rather scared to stand there though, the floor wasn't all that of a good shape :D
