life moves on
and so do we

distance has grown
distance between us

chances to meet
become few

though everytime we do
we remember ...

friendship is not about quantity
the quantity we see eachother

friendship is about quality
the quality when we meet

the laughter and joy
the memories we share
the plans we made
the plans we make

you'll always be, my friend

Emile has always been one of my best friends and shall always remain. Since I have moved we no longer see eachother as often as we did, but the quality remains the same. This is an older photo I have found in my collection, but it reminded me of great times, sitting outside at Kassa 4, one of our regular pubs we visited. Emile has been (as most of you know) my most willing model. With my move, I have lost my model, but I will always keep my friend.

Enjoy

this signature is not big and most certainly not clever, it is however mid sized and mildly intelligent

compositionally lovely, the light and shade accentuate the humanity in the portrait - lovely capture, congrats

I think, therefore I... doh... what was the question?

Beautiful shot of a wonderful friend man. I love the emotions in it.

Funny...I havent been commenting on shots for the last...shit...4 months? Something like that. Except Sarahs, and those were few sadly.
This one made me want to comment on someone elses shot. Finally. You did it. I love it.

glad I could evoke that emotion and feeling with you that you wanted to comment again.
I know you can feel to the whole distance thing. Now I am with my loved one, but sometimes I do miss my friends and places I used to go to. If I knew back then what I know now, I wouldn't have changed my plans though. I'm happy were I am :)

Nice DOF and angle. Lighting looks good.

Sweet description as well!
